Disclaimer: Kaikan Phrase and Ookou Sakuya belong to Shinjo Mayu and
Shogakukan (Flower Comics). This was written in the 1st tankubon, as
the love ballad Sakuya sang for Aine (revealed in the 2nd tankubon)..
It's a message for her.. although she doesn't know it at first.. as
the kanji for "ai" is love and "ne" is melody.. Aine. Love Melody.

Love Melody

kotoba yori fukai omoi wo tsutaetakute
mitsumeta shisen sorasazu ni ita
setsunasa ni mune wo kakimushitte
kuruoshi kumogaku yoru
i want to tell you my desires deeper than words,
without turning away from the intent gaze
     painfully scratching my chest
     in this crazy, cloudy night

kimi ni oborete
tadoritsuku kishibe ha
hikikaesenai yami dakedo
     drowning in you
the riverbank making its way to the shore is
unable to turn back in the darkness

itami wo ai ni tameiki wo toiki ni
kimi dake ga kaerareru
kiseki wo shinjite
breathing a sigh for the sentiments of love,
     only you believe
     in changing miracles

itsu demo kimi wo tsutsumikomu
kaze no you ni yasashiku tsuyoku
kimi no soba ni iraretara
kono mama sora ni toketemo ii
     always wrapping you
strong and gentle as the wind
if i can be by your side
then, i can melt into the sky just like that.

aitakereba tonde yuku
sabishii nara dakishimete
kimi wo mamoru tame no ude wo
hiroge de iru boku ni kizuite
if you want to see me, i'll fly to you**
if you're lonely, i'll hold you
these arms which are for protecting you
are spread wide so you may notice me

---------------------------------------------------------------------

** i think "aitai" can be translated as "i miss you".. it's normally
"i want to see you" or "i want to meet you".... but often, when some
people haven't seen each other in a long time, they say, "aitakatta"
("i wanted to see you")... that's practically, "i missed you" right?
so that would be, "if you miss me, i'll fly to you."
