synopsis: yaya doesn’t have very much self-confidence, never having that many friends… but maybe things will change in high school, as two girls approach her, wanting to be her friend. but her activities are restricted by a strict father. and her sundays that never seem to be free…. what’s up with her sundays? meet yaya on sunday, a different yaya than you’ve seen before, a yaya that’s an avid juliet fan (a band that seems to be a visual rock band), dressing up as a goth and hanging out with people whose real names she doesn’t know.. but her new friends find out, and rather than asking her straight, they make insinuations of her “cosplay” instead… quite disheartened, she keeps to herself, listening to juliet and receiving some comfort from the letter and magical runrun transformation compact she had sent herself through a time capsule from 10 years ago… invited out by her “friends”, she finds herself cornered into going, and when they underhandedly try to expose her interests, it seems a different yaya has been born.. singing boldly, hanging confidently, being able to defend herself quite strongly… unlike the timid yaya she’s always been… but it seems she can’t remember her moments as the strong yaya… how will the strong yaya and the timid yaya ever be reconciled?
commentary: i don’t know, i think her “cosplay” character looks pretty cool.. ^^ she looks quite different, and yes, she acts quite differently. i’m not sure anybody quite realizes that they’re almost completely different people. but what friends! ugh. it reminds me of w pinch, though, for those ribon readers who might recognize the title… ^^; (at the time i’m writing this, chapter 3 has only come out, but i’m tagging it for a series that will last more than one book)
