synopsis: ayase natsu is now in high school, ready for love and dating.. she is tired of being rejected by guys who think she’s too boyish; her strength from aikido training doesn’t help much. she enters the dorms, hoping to power up on girliness, and she scores when her roommate turns out to be the very ladylike konno fujio.. except that she soon finds out that the ideal girl is actually a boy, who is also in training to be ladylike for his family’s kabuki troupe. natsu is freaked, but fuji threatens to take her down with him if he gets kicked out. besides, fuji could teach natsu all about being ladylike and how to be popular with guys.

commentary: wjuliet goes to the dorms! or that’s what it seems like. (see, it’s not just girls dressed up as guys who go to boy’s dorms. well, there was mint na bokura, too.) natsu is admired by girls, and fuji is admired by guys. natsu is a lot like koukou debut’s haruna.. seeking love, remaining upbeat even with some of the downers, even being strong due to physical training, etc. “fujio”.. really sounds like a guy’s name; would there even be any girls with that name? his girl form is just pretty.. though he apparently also has a different “boy” voice. i wonder how that would sound like on a drama cd.. in any case, it’s a cute read, and definitely recommended if you liked wjuliet. ;p
