synopsis: ikeuchi kana can’t believe how childish the guys in her high school are. good thing she met a cool guy just recently. he always sits in the same place in the cafe, quietly reading a book. after a quick investigation, she finds out that he’s kaneda kyouichi, a 20-year-old college student. and, finally, the day before school starts, she asks him to go out with her. to which, he nonchalantly says yes… unfortunately, he doesn’t know anything about her yet. “i’m ikeuchi kana! i’m going to be a high school student starting in april!” surprised that she’s a high school student, he remarks that he thought they were the same age. he asks her if she’s sure she wants to gout with him. after an enthusiastic confirmation, he tries to say something, but she cuts him off cheerily and leaves. the other girls in school think kana’s so lucky and want to meet college guys, too… until one day, to her surprise… she finds out that he’s an elementary school student! tsk, tsk, kana… look before you leap. but now what’s a girl to do?
