manga: for your reading pleasure

synopsis: klutzy 14-year-old tsukino usagi was just having another one of her regular days: late attendance, flunked tests, dreaming about sailor v.. and food… and meeting a talking cat… er… back track.. beyond her wildest dreams, Luna, the cat, informs her that she is actually a super heroine named sailor moon on a mission to locate the other sailor senshi so they may find – and protect – their moon princess. ah, can this klutzy girl manage to survive?

commentary: this description matches the one in my anime section, for the simple fact that the introductory story was the same… however, the manga takes on a more serious tone quicker than the anime.. in any case.. this series is probably one of the most well-known in the western hemisphere.
