Rika has a fairly simple life. She lives with a cozy, tightly-knit family, which runs a small restaurant. She has a younger sister and a younger brother who are both quite distant from her age. She is popular among customers at home, for being such a nice girl.
Her niceness seems to know no bounds, as she has been Aya's best friend since early childhood. Aya would bully her and order her around, but Rika would just take it all in stride, smiling angelically. The only limit to her eternal tolerance appears to be, as mentioned above, any form of cruelty towards Kyou-chan. This was demonstrated by a 6-year-old Rika (I think she was 6) hitting a guy who was bullying Kyou-chan with a baseball bat to the head.
Rika's interests lie in crafts, particularly sewing and making clothes, and aspires to go into textiles in college.
